I found a challenge that I really enjoyed on "My Creative Scrapbook" the challenge is to scrap the scrapper, create a LO of yourself. There are a few details that needs to be included on your LO to be consider for the prize. I created a LO of myself in honor of October cancer awareness (breast cancer), I didn't have breast cancer. I been in remission 8 months now from stomach & colon cancer. I always tell others fighting the cancer was easy surviving is the battle.
Journal says Beautiful, Perfect, Confident, One of a Kind. I am a Cancer Survivor
Getting through 4 surgeries in 3 years I have turned me into a mild hypochondriac (I pay close attention to any ache & pain), staying strong to keep those around you in good spirits. Taking 7-8 pills 2-3x a day, half of the meds are just for the side effect of the real meds you need to survivor. The truth is I may gripe bout the meds and being a hypochondriac but I wouldn't have it any other way. Every morning when I see my girls off and feel my hubby arms around me, smelling the morning air and feeling Gods mercy and touch on me when I am so weary and weak lets me know I can go on. TFL

This is such a powerful layout! My mother is a cervical cancer survivor too!
ReplyDeleteawesome layout...my dad had colon cancer in 2007 and had his colon removed too so I understand this battle...he was sick/hospitalized for a whole year (he's fine now and is gearing up to get ostomy reversal) so it's ok to be a hypochondriac to keep yourself healthy.
